These terms are the agreement between you and Stride Lab when you use the Stride Lab mobile app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Stride Lab.
1. The service
Stride Lab helps runners follow a training plan, record runs and strength sessions, track progress and work with a coach. Some plans and check-ins are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence. The service is currently offered for free during its early access phase and may change, gain or lose features over time.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 19, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Give accurate information and keep it up to date, especially your health answers: your plan depends on them.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us quickly if you think someone else is using it.
One person, one account.
3. Health and safety
Stride Lab is not a medical service. Plans, paces, suggestions and AI check-ins are general training guidance, not medical advice, and they can contain mistakes.
See a doctor before starting or intensifying training, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, or have been told to rest.
Listen to your body. Stop and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath.
Run safely: watch traffic, weather and your surroundings, and do not use the app in a way that distracts you from them.
You take part in physical activity at your own risk.
4. Coaches
Coaches on Stride Lab are independent. We review coach profiles before they appear, but we do not employ coaches and are not responsible for the advice they give or for any arrangement, including payment, made directly between a coach and an athlete.
If you are a coach, you agree to give honest information about your experience, to use your athletes’ data only to coach them, to keep it confidential, and to respect their choice to end the relationship.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
harass, threaten or insult other users, or send unlawful, hateful or sexual content;
impersonate someone or create an account for another person without their consent;
access other users’ data, try to break or overload the service, or get around its security;
copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, or collect data from it with automated tools;
use Stride Lab for any illegal purpose.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to Stride Lab: runs, notes, messages, photos. You allow us to store and display it so the service can work, for example to show your runs to your coach. When you share a run image outside the app, you choose where it goes.
7. Our content
The Stride Lab name, logos, design, training library and software belong to Stride Lab or to their licensors. Some exercise illustrations are used under the Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 license, credited in the app. You may use the app for your own training, but not copy or reuse these elements otherwise.
8. Other services
Stride Lab can connect to services such as Google and Strava. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for how they work.
9. Availability
We work to keep Stride Lab available and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always work, be free of errors, or record every run exactly. GPS distance and pace can be inaccurate.
10. Liability
To the extent allowed by Algerian law, Stride Lab is not liable for injuries resulting from your training, for indirect damages, or for the loss of data you could have kept yourself. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using Stride Lab at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by writing to stridelabdz@gmail.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or end the service with reasonable notice. What happens to your data is explained in our privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Stride Lab after that, you accept the new terms.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Algerian law. In case of a dispute, please contact us first so we can try to find a solution together. Failing that, the competent Algerian courts will have jurisdiction.
